Posted May 10, 2011 at 12:31pm by iClarified
Google has announced Google TV will be to run Android apps starting this summer.

The announcement was made during its I/O conference keynote. The Google TV will reportedly get updated with Android 3.1 Honeycomb this summer which brings Android Market to the device.

There have long been rumors that Apple will bring apps to the Apple TV. The second generation Apple TV runs iOS; however, it does not yet offer developers the possibility to create apps for the device without jailbreaking it first.
