Updated iOS 4.3.3 Jailbreak May Reduce Your Battery Drain

Updated iOS 4.3.3 Jailbreak May Reduce Your Battery Drain

Posted May 8, 2011 at 1:22pm by iClarified
I0n1c reports that the updated iOS 4.3.3 jailbreak released this morning may also reduce battery drain.

BTW: by using the latest RedSw0w you also might decrease the battery drain.

Process Priority was not restored after the kernel exploit. That might have caused some battery drain.

You can find more information on the RedSn0w and PwnageTool update here.

So is it reducing the battery drain after update or increasing the battery drain?

Double negative = positive. That's the way i took it. Better battery life with the update.

"decrease battery drain" seems like a good thing. I believe the tweet implies the latest 4.3.3 jailbreak decreases battery life or increases the drain on the battery. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think "decrease battery drain" implies an /increase/ in battery life; in other words, he means that the battery drains less.
