Chronic Dev-Team Releases Greenpois0n RC6 With Apple TV Support

The Chronic Dev-Team has released Greenpois0n RC6 with support for jailbreaking the Apple TV.

In addition to the Apple TV support, RC6 fixes emulator issues.

You can apply RC6 over RC5 without restoring. Download it here and follow one of these tutorials for assistance:

GP RC6 worked great last night, but today when I rebooted my ATV....black screen.. nothing worked...doing a restore again now :( Is GP RC6 really a untethered jailbreak ???

Great....... i get the jailbreak to run do its stuff wait the 40 seconds till i unplug usb. Now when i run apple tv it gets the apple logo then nothing blank screen nothing.

worked fine on my first apple tv, 2nd one i got the same issue, and ive tryed everything and can not resolve :(

I had to do an update via itunes to get mines t jailbreak after it died on the apple logo.

atv2 worked, but had to try it several times, if fails change to another usb port. also restore factory settings before jb. thanks to greenpois0n!

Ok i got it working but had to update via itunes then run the hack everything installed . Ran firecores software and looked on there forums to work out how to get there software to work. after updating nito 3 times and restaring lowtide i finally got the maintenance menus Thats how i got it going.

ATV2 working fine and untethered thanks to this greenpois0n release... thanks Chronic Dev-Team - I can finally move the atv2 freely without having to worry about the tether :)

So if I apply RC6 over RC5 on my 3GS, am I gonna have to reinstall all my Cydia stuff? Is it worth the trouble or am I good w/ RC5?

Yes it's untethered that's the green poison jailbreak for 4.2.1, they just added apple tv 2g support.
