Twiddly has announced the global launch of Reality Check, an app for iPhone and iPod touch. Reality Check gathers the latest news and gossip on 29 of the most popular reality TV shows from around the world and displays the headlines in an attractive, convenient and customizable format. Users instantly get the low down on their favorite shows - and the app makes it easy to share favorite stories because support for Twitter, Facebook, Delicious and many other services is built right in.
"I'm a huge fan of reality based shows like X Factor, The Apprentice, Big Brother and American Idol, and I wanted an app that would deliver the latest news in a concise and attractive format," commented Andrew Noble, creator and developer of Reality Check. "I searched the App Store and couldn't find anything that checked all my boxes, so I decided I may as well create my ideal app. Reality Check is great for getting a quick fix of your favorite shows anytime you have a spare few minutes, and personally I've loved finding out all the background gossip leading up to the launch of X Factor in the USA."
One of the biggest features in Reality Check is the ability to customize it. A tap of the Edit button it lets users rearrange shows, remove shows from display, or add additional shows from any of the 29 currently available. It ships with a hand picked selection of shows from the UK, USA, Canada and Australia including - X Factor (UK, USA & Aus), Dancing On Ice (UK), American Idol, The Bachelor (US), Survivor (US), Canadian Idol, Project Runway (US & Aus), Top Chef (US), MasterChef (UK & Aus) & My Kitchen Rules (Aus).
Pricing and Availability:
Reality Check 1.1 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Entertainment category.
