Impressive iPod Nano Watch Project Already Raises $30,000 [Video]

Scott Wilson, founder of the MINIMAL design studio, has launched a Kickstarter project to bring his impressive iPod nano watch designs into reality.

The company has produced two designs; a cheaper simple design and a premium conversion kit for making the nano your primary watch.

TikTok is a simple snap-in design. It allows the user to easily and securely snap the Nano into the wrist dock. It cleanly and simply integrates the Nano and transforms it into a modern multifunction timepiece.

LunaTik is designed and intended to be a premium conversion kit for someone that wants to dedicate their Nano to being a watch and the newest conversation piece with their friends. It is forged from Aerospace Grade Aluminum and then machined via CNC into its final form.

The straps are made from high grade silicone rubber and the hardware is solid stainless steel not some chrome plated brass that will wear off. The quality of these watch cases and straps will be scrutinized very carefully and produced in the same factories that produce the best watches for companies like Nixon, Diesel, Vestal, and Nike.

The project needed $15,000 to launch and it already has 417 Backers funding $30,144 with 29 days to go. TikTok will retail for $34.95 and LunaTik will retail for $69.95.

What about the battery? you would need to charge the nano quite frequently. water resistant is another point..

Nice idea but guys, what about a watter resistant seal or something thin that would make the watch resistant to watter splash at least not underwater capable, anyway nice design but anyone who wares a watch, it doesn't matter how cheep it is, it is at least watter splash resistant so .. in conclusion your design is just more beautiful then the other wrist cases for the nano.
