New iPhone Soundboard Recorder

PocketMe is the new iPhone Soundboard Recorder App that everyone needs. It allows users to record nine of their favourite sounds (catchphrases, sayings, messages, anything!), ready to be played back at the tap of a button. These 'Soundboards' can then be shared with friends just by bumping two iPhones together.

Developed by SenSeb Productions Ltd., after Director Sebastian Hamilton was surprised to find that no such App was already available, the easy to understand look and feel of the App, and the fact that it has unlimited uses, make it set to be the next big App Store success. It is now available to download for just $0.99/£0.59.

The user is initially presented with nine blank buttons, but in less than a minute they can set any photo of their choice as the background of the Soundboard, change the titles that appear under each button and record their own sounds which can be played back at the tap of a finger. Using the hugely popular 'Bump' technology two iPhones can literally be bumped together to share soundboards - so you can create a whole collection of sounds from your friends! There is also a free version available, allowing users to try out the PocketMe experience.


Director of SenSeb Productions Ltd., Sebastian Hamilton, said: "Soundboards are hugely popular on the iPhone - you can download many licensed Apps allowing the playback of sounds from celebrities, television shows and films - so I was amazed to find no useful App for creating a Soundboard of my own. I set about learning the details of iPhone App programming and the App is now finally available after months of planning and preparation!"

Sebastian continued: "This is the App I've always wanted, and I'm sure others will enjoy it as well. There are so many uses for it, both fun and serious, that I can't wait to hear how people are using it. We are really keen to hear feedback from users, and have set up a Twitter account, Facebook account and website to interact with fans. We have also created a stop-motion YouTube advert, gently spoofing children's television shows, which is already proving really popular."

There are around 200,000 Apps now available for the iPhone and iPad, so being successful is not easy, and coming up with an original idea is even harder.
