Comex has released his jailbreak for all iOS 4 devices including the iPhone 4. He tweeted a link to http://www.jailbreakme.com moments ago.

Unfortunately, the servers were immediately slammed and have gone down. We will let you know as soon as they are up. We will also have tutorials on how to use the jailbreak as soon as it can be downloaded.

Once you have jailbroken your iPhone on iOS 4 you will be able to unlock it using UltraSn0w. iPhone 4 users still need to wait a bit for an UltraSn0w update.

Congratulations to comex and the iPhone Dev-Team for making this happen.

Update x2:
Some users are reporting issues with FaceTime and MMS after the jailbreak. Comex has been able to reproduce the issue and is working to fix it. Apparently a restore from backup will also resolve the problem. Also there are many users unable to perform the jailbreak on their iPad including us. We will be holding off on our iPad tutorial until these issues are resolved.

Update x3:
FaceTime and MMS issues should be fixed now. For those who already jailbreaked, simply launch Cydia and follow the update prompts.

Update x4:
Comex released an update to try and fix iPad jailbreaks. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for us on 3.2 or 3.2.1. He has gone to sleep and will likely continue to look into the matter tomorrow. Until then please refrain from trying this on your iPad.

after i enter jailbreakme.com I can't swipe my finger to jailbreak, it's stuck. I tried to reset network settings, clear history, but nothing works. What should I do?

I just jailbreak and unlocked iPhone 4 lastnight and I noticed that the visual voice mail doesn't work. I have to call in. Any ideas?

Hi! Iphone 3GS, old bootrom, previous version prior to jailbroken 4.0.1. I did the jailbreak and everything went ok, I could sync and all the apps were succesfully installed on the iphone. However, cydia does not work properly. I can´t add new sources. the new sources either fails during adding them or never finish installing them. What should I do? Thanks a lot for the help in advance.

Yes. Don't know why you would want to lose the jailbreak though. But I can understand needing to restore, and ya u can do that

My iPhone is jailbroken, but I have one issue. Any applications I have downloaded via installous are removed the next time I sync with iTunes.. Is anyone else haveing this same problem??? Any help would be appriciated. thank you..

It may be because You have to authorize your computer to sync apps with the iPhone. Go to the top of iTunes the toolbars there and you will see the option to authorize the computer. I had the same problem and I eventually did a restore to stock before I figured this out

hello, I've been trying to use jailbreakme.com for a few days now and it keeps crashing whenever I slide to jailbreak, is this due to server over flooding? or is there are any problem with my iphone? btw my iphone is 3gs 4.0 thanks

Restore your phone to stock (boot to DFU mode and restore, but do not restore from a backup). In other words make sure your phone is clean and new, like u just bought it. This will avoid a lot of problems

Hi, any1 having issues with sbsettings ? If I install sbsettings, after respring it goes into safe mode, I unstall it and all is fine ... was wondering if there was a way to reset something .. The rest is working fine, winterboard, all themes ... 3GS ios 4.0.1 Thx for the replies

After jailbreaking my iPhone 3Gs with iOS4, when I turn on the phone, a few seconds after the apple sign appears, there are some colored pixels like a line on the screen. Also, using the phone some noise is heard.

i have an iPhone 3GS and i used the http://www.jailbreakme.com/ to jailbreak my phone. But i tried to removed it by going to settings -> general -> reset -> then clicked "erase all content and settings" my problem now is it freezes when i reboot it... its has a the apple logo with the waiting logo goes in a circle then it stops with a small line at the right upper corner with multi colors. i also does not connect to itunes but it charges... any help would be greatly appreciated... to install the app, add this source to Cydia: cydia.hackulo.us. Then install INSTALLOUS app from that repo. This will give you what you need to install apps. Now reboot your device and install any FREE app from the APPSTORE. After you do all this, you will be able to sync apps through iTunes no problemo.

I keep having the problem when downloading anything with cydia that it says "Host Unreachable" i am on 3gs 4.0.1 Anyone have any ideas? I used Cyder 2 to put ultrasn0w on my phone but it still will not unlock.

Iphone 3gs 4.01 latest Boot rom, I tried many times to jb, kept getting to the progress bar, progress bar would run out then all quit. Tried all the suggestions ie. empty cache reboot etc. Finally setup iphone as new,-restored but did not backup (had previous backup though) then jailbroke 1st try. Restored from backup. All good so far.

Hello eveyone!!! just like everyone else I am very happy that there is jailbreak for all ios4 including the iphone 4 (Thank You DevTeam and Comex), well my issue is; I have an iphone 4g but I am unable to activate it, I have tried many of my friends ATT sims but no luck at all which it tell me that the so call PHonebook sim will not work for the iphone 4. Any one that had done so please let me know, I might be doing it the wrong way.

Yes! and when I connect it to Itunes the option to activate via verification of phone #, social ect. comes out. I cannot go thru that because I bouth it from someone and he will not give out his info. Is there any way to bypass it.? Thank you for the reply.

i also bought a a non-activated phone from craigslist and bought a phonebook sim card. the still does not activate through itunes.

Hello, I just got the phonebook sim card and tried it on my new iphone 4g and it does not work, I tired using the guide here at clarified but nothing. I have tried it several times and no luck at all. Please any one help if any has already done so. Thank You Jorge

i think we're out of luck jorge. i think that's how apple intend it be because those who paid for the phone without the contract did not have to worry about the account info for set up- activation with AT&T's sim. I think our activation sim card would have worked it there wasn't that barrier.

I am stuck in the same place. he prior jailbreak dealt with this because you coud have just conect to your computer and it would have been done but this one you must go through safari on the phone itself which is the main issue. Let me know if you get through on your side.

yeah, i'm having the same issue. i had my 3gs paired with my car stereo, but since the JB, i can't get it to sync. now i can't use my hand free feature that i need. i might get grid off the jailbreak until the bluethooth problem is fixed. good luck
