glimmerWave software has announced the release and immediate availability of Sonic Slug Bricks 1.0.2, its groundbreaking new sound-driven arcade game for iPhone and iPod touch. With hot neon graphics, sound controlled weapons and fully customizable sound effects, Sonic Slug Bricks brings immersive sonic gaming to all iPhone and iPod touch platforms.

Sonic Slug Bricks redefines arcade style gaming with its innovative use of audio. Players use voice input to energize projectiles and trigger power ups. Seamless integration with the SoundCloud music platform enables users to record, share, browse and download all sound effects (including music loops) even during gameplay. The game is simple to learn but challenging to master. Players use their Slug to protect precious vegetables from abduction while directing a ball to destroy brick blockades and enemy spaceships.

Players can enhance the value of each brick they destroy and increase their scores by catching falling vegetables or by downloading enough sound effects to obtain the crystal, amber or jade orbs. There are seven Slug Worlds to unlock and explore as well as Survival mode which presents an endlessly replenished blockade.
