Apple Debuts 'Bad Monkey' Season 2 Trailer Starring Vince Vaughn [Video]

Apple TV has released the official trailer for season two of 'Bad Monkey,' with Vince Vaughn returning as Andrew Yancy for a new murder case in Florida.

The 10-episode season premieres December 2, 2026, with one episode, followed by a new installment every Wednesday through February 3, 2027. Although the series is based on Carl Hiaasen's novel, this season follows an original story.

After Yancy witnesses the murder of a Florida fixer, an ambitious state attorney pairs him with a forensic accountant to investigate. The case draws him into a turf war between rival criminal organizations, where he encounters a mob boss, the boss's volatile son, and a young woman who needs his protection.

Yancy also has to deal with his aging father and lingering romantic tension with Dr. Rosa Campesino, played by Natalie Martinez. Rosa launches her own investigation into a mysterious rash, while an animal relocation specialist's business threatens the local environment.

Martinez, Charlotte Lawrence, and John Ortiz return alongside Vaughn, with John Malkovich, Yvonne Strahovski, and Zavior Phillips joining the cast. Guest stars include Nate Jackson, Sofia Boutella, Brent Morin, Joey Avery, Dax Shepard, Sam Jaeger, Margarita Levieva, Peter Billingsley, and June Diane Raphael.

Bill Lawrence developed the series and serves as showrunner and executive producer through Doozer Productions under its deal with Warner Bros. Television, which produces the show. Jeff Ingold, Matt Tarses, Vaughn, Liza Katzer, Adam Sztykiel, Chris Downey, and Hiaasen also executive produce. The first season is available to stream on Apple TV.
