Apple has announced service pricing for the new iPhone X smartphone and it's not cheap. It costs $279 to replace the display and $549 for any other damage that isn't covered under warranty.
If you're prone to accidentally dropping your device, you may want to consider AppleCare+. For $199 a year you get two incidents of accidental damage coverage. You can use an incident for screen repair or for other damage to your iPhone. An AppleCare+ screen replacement costs $29 and any other repair is $99.

People need to stop buying phones for these ridiculous prices. Only then with they start to lower prices. When they see sales drop the prices will drop too.
Damn... those prices sure are a complete ripoff for buyers. Perhaps the phone is expensive to build, and some components do cost a premium, still I'm shaking my head. Better be careful handling it, buying mine once early adopters give it the 'green lights' status ;)
They want 1136 EUR for the 64GB model and 1320EUR for the 256GB model in Germany... that is the equivalent $1300 and $1530 respectively ... that is too much for a smart phone!
An d we do not forget, the yellow screen on the Ipac 27', and we do not going to foget the High Sierra with his total incompatibility with all the dd suport who are working before update...., Mhhm better to say "High-VISTA" instead...and we do not forget the full incompatibility of Itunes with old Mac's ( even machines like MacPro who cost more than 10K $)
