Apple CEO Tim Cook has reportedly responded to a customer's email about the company's delayed AirPods.
Back in October, Apple announced that its wireless AirPods would not ship on time. The company did not provide a revised release date.
Customer's comment: "Give us a release date. I really bought in to the wireless vision you painted. Now I'm stuck waiting with my EarPods but can't charge my 7 at the same time which I need to do at work. Let us know if it's a month or 6 months, because then I'll just buy some other wireless headphones."
Tim Cook's response: "Thanks for your note. Sorry for the delay---we are finalizing them and I anticipate we will begin to ship over the next few weeks."
MacRumors says it verified the email headers as coming from Apple; however, this sort of thing is easy to fake. We'll let you know as soon as there is official confirmation from Apple on a ship date.
I already move on from iPhone to Pixel XL and using Jabra Elite as my true wireless headphone. I lost interest since the announcement of their Airpods. What a joke and they think I will always buy their Apple stuff. First, no more Jailbreak, then that hideous looking airpods. I'm done and time to move on. Once I thought Apple couldn't be brought down, since the day Steve Jobs died, I think Apple died as well.
You see that's where there's a disconnect. Lots of people complaining but Apple still posts fantastic sales figures and profits. So what gives? Either they are doing something wrong or something right. You may not like it, but somehow others seem to. Funny right?
