As rumored, Apple has expanded its iPhone and iPad trade in program to Australia letting customers receive up to A$250 credit for a purchase of a new iPhone or up to A$215 for an iPad.

Customers can receive a maximum of $250 credit towards a new iPhone or up to $215 for an iPad, Apple said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to Apple, you cannot trade-in the latest iOS device like the iPhone 5s/5c nor can you trade in first-generation devices like the original iPad. All other devices can be used to get credit towards the purchase of an iPhone or iPad Apple currently sells in its Australian stores

Apple originally launched the iPhone trade in program back in August, and it slowly has expanded it to other countries since then.
