Ok. so I have a unlocked iphone 3gs i thought would be neat to jailbreak. so far not so neat. when using redsn0w (latest version) I thought i had a old bootrom - apparently not. that caused it to boot up in funky yellow colors.. I read that the fix is to pull the phone apart and reset the nand memory. so i pulled it apart carefully, left it apart for an hour as directed, put it all back together and restored through itunes - then YAY! i see the apple logo again. however now i have a problem I dont know how to fix... It shows the apple logo for about 5-7min, then i get a spinnig pinwheel for maybe 2-3min, then white screen flashes for one second and it reboots. stuck in an endless loop. I tend to belive it can be fixed when less that 24hrs ago it was working fine. stupid me i know cant leave it alone but any help turning my ibrick back into an iphone is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the flash is corrupt. If this is the case you've well and truly bricked the device. If i were you i would put the phone in recovery mode and try a restore that way. Google 'iPhone recovery DFU restore' for how to do this.
