Almost immediately after iOS 6.1.4 was released with a few bug fixes for the Microsoft Exchange data use problem, a new version of the Evasi0n jailbreak utility came out to handle any devices that were upgraded to 6.1.4. It?s still the same Evasi0n jailbreaking experience, untethered and all. Like prior versions of Evasion, the following devices running iOS 6.1.4are supported: iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, and iPad mini, and the 4th and 5th generations of iPod touch.

Unfortunately, there is NO legitimate jailbreak currently released for the iPhone 5 on iOS 6.1.3 OR above (6.1.4 and iOS 7 beta 1). Depending on how long you have had your 5, though, you may still have options. If you have had your 5 since iOS 6.1.2 or below and have the SHSH blobs saved for those firmwares, you can always downgrade using 2 methods. Method 1, simply download the corresponding firmware for your iPhone from iClarified (6.1.2 was the last with a full, untethered jailbreak available), then download the latest version of Redsn0w and TinyUmbrella(TU). After doing so, connect your phone, turn it off, open TU, select your device and hit "turn on TSS server", then open Redsn0w, go into "Extras", click on "Pwnd DFU" and follow the prompts. Once completed, open up iTunes, hit shift+restore (option+restore if on a Mac), find the .ispw file you downloaded of the firmware you would like to downgrade to, and iTunes should restore your phone to the selected iOS. If this method failed and you on a PC, then try the next method. (NOTE, this does NOT work if you are on a Mac or Linux computer**) if you have not done so already, download the above-mentioned softwares AS WELL AS iFaith. Open it up and downgrade the firmware through it as it does not require iTunes to downgrade or upgrade firmwares. If your phone came loaded with iOS 6.1.3 or 6.1.4, unfortunately, you are stuck without a jailbreak until developers release any more jailbreaks. As of right now, we will not be seeing a jailbreak until iOS 7 at the earliest, it seems. Anyone advertising jailbreaks for iOS 6.1.3 or above is SCAMMING you, especially if they are asking for money. Many are claiming to have a jailbreak for these firmwares, but they are LYING and will only upload malicious software. Also, beware of any websites posing to be Evad3r's or Dev-Team (Redsn0w developers) as neither developing team has released any updates to their jailbreaks.
