Apple has released macOS Tahoe 26.0.1, the first minor update to its new desktop operating system. The software was released just under two weeks after the major launch of macOS Tahoe 26. The build number for this update is 25A362.
According to Apple's release notes, the update provides important bug fixes and security updates. It also specifically resolves an issue that prevented some users from upgrading to macOS Tahoe on the Mac Studio (M3 Ultra, 2025).
