Apple has added a new 'Prioritize Notifications' feature in iOS 18.4 beta.

Apple Intelligence can show you notifications that may be important in a separate section on the Lock Screen, so you can catch up on what you may have missed. You can still swipe up to view all notifications.

To enable the feature, users can navigate to Settings > Notifications > Prioritize Notifications. Here you can toggle the feature ON and OFF.

Under the switch is a note that reads, "iPhone uses on-device processing to analyze the content of notifications for importance while protecting your privacy."

When you receive a notification that has been prioritized, there's a header on the push alert with an Apple Intelligence icon and the words Priority Notifications. When you swipe up, it animates to remove that header.

Other new features in iOS 18.4 include a Vision Pro app, a Food section in News+, expanded Apple Intelligence availability, Ambient Music controls, and more. The update is already available to developers and Apple has announced that it plans to release iOS 18.4 to all users in April.
