It appears that Netflix may finally be rolling out support for the Apple TV app. The integration was recently spotted by flatpanelshd.
UPDATE: Netflix spokesperson MoMo Zhou has told The Verge that this morning's window where Netflix appeared as a "participating" service in Apple TV — including temporary support for the watchlist and "continue watching" features — was an error and has now been rolled back.

Today, FlatpanelsHD received a prompt on Apple TV 4K to integrate Netflix into the Apple TV app, as shown at the bottom. After accepting, Netflix content appeared in the Continue Watching queue and Watchlist within the Apple TV app, as seen below.

The site notes that the feature is working with Netflix Originals, such as Stranger Things and Squid Game, but not with licensed content. When you click "Play," the content launches in the Netflix app.
Additionally, it appears that the integration prompt is only being shown to some users in the United States. So far, there have been no reports of users receiving the option in other countries.

Notably, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings spoke out against integrating with Apple TV years ago, saying, "Apple's a great company. We want to have people watch our service — or our content on our service. And so we've chosen not to integrate into their service, because we prefer to have our customers watch our content in our service." It's unclear what changed the company's mind.
Neither Netflix nor Apple has made an official announcement regarding the integration, but hopefully, the feature will roll out to all users soon.
