Display Supply Chain Consultants founder Ross Young has backed a prediction that the next-generation iPhone SE will feature a notch rather than a Dynamic Island.
It has been widely rumored that Apple would base the new iPhone SE 4 on the design of the iPhone 14. This would mean dropping the home button and adopting a 6.1-inch edge-to-edge OLED screen with a notch, more closely aligning its design with the rest of Apple's lineup.
Last week, those rumors were called into question when leaker @evleaks shared an alleged image of the front of the iPhone SE 4, which showed a Dynamic Island instead.
In a post on X today, Young refuted that claim, stated, "Notch like iPhone 14 is correct."
The analyst has a solid track record when it comes to display predictions, so a notch design seems more likely at this time.
