New images and video of the alleged iPhone SE 4 dummy models have surfaced, offering a clearer look at the rumored design changes.
In a post on X today, user Majin Bu shared the images, saying, "The iPhone SE 4 looks so beautiful."
The newly surfaced photos showcase a device that resembles an iPhone 14 with a single-lens rear camera, evoking a design slightly reminiscent of the iPhone 4.
Codenamed V59, the phone will be the first refresh of Apple's low-end smartphone since 2022, when 5G capability was introduced. With this new model, Apple is expected to drop the home button and adopt an edge-to-edge screen, aligning the design with the rest of its lineup. This change could help the company regain budget-minded customers, particularly in China, where it has lost market share to competitors like Huawei and Xiaomi.
The device is rumored to support Apple Intelligence and feature a design similar to the iPhone 14, complete with a notch at the top of the display. While Bu's images appear to corroborate this, a recent leak from @evleaks contradicted previous reports, alleging that the new iPhone SE would feature a Dynamic Island. The device may also utilize an OLED display panel, marking the end of LCD use in all iPhone models.
Additionally, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera supplied by LG Innotek. It will reportedly debut Apple's first in-house 5G modem.
