iPhone 17 Air Rumored to Feature Horizontal Camera Bar

Apple's highly anticipated iPhone 17 Air may feature a horizontal camera bar, according to a recent leak by Digital Chat Station.

Multiple reports suggest that Apple plans to introduce the iPhone 17 Air next year as a replacement for the iPhone 17 Plus. The model is rumored to sport a slim design with a 6.6-inch display, setting it apart from other devices in Apple's lineup. Additionally, the iPhone 17 Air could debut Apple's in-house 5G modem and eliminate support for SIM cards entirely.

In a post on Weibo, Digital Chat Station shared a concept render of the iPhone 17 Air, revealing what they claim is a unique "runway strip" camera bump design.

Judging from the supply chain materials, the iPhone 17 series (slim) has indeed been changed to this design. I don't know the details of the lens arrangement. The module is this strip runway, and many new Android machines will be changed to this design next year.

Interestingly, this claim appears to contradict a recent report from The Information, which suggested the iPhone 17 Air would feature a single rear camera housed in a prominent, centered bump.
