YouTube has updated its app for iOS with support for Apple's native share sheet functionality.
The change, spotted by MacRumors, appears to have been introduced on November 25, 2024, with the release of version 19.47.7. The release notes for that update simply say...
We fixed the tubes that bring you videos – and some bugs too.
After updating the app, you can navigate to a video in your Photos app, tap the Share button and then select YouTube from the list of destinations. From there you can make edits to the video and post it on your channel.
The YouTube app last supported native share sheet functionality back in 2018.
