Apple has released the first public betas of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 to users for testing. These public betas feature Apple Intelligence support for the first time and follow the release of iOS 18.1 beta 4, iPadOS 18.1 beta 4, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 beta 4 seeded to developers earlier this week.
iOs 18.1 beta gives you an early preview of upcoming apps, features, and technologies. Please back up your iPhone before you install the beta.
This beta includes an initial set of features powered by Apple Intelligence. To try the Apple Intelligence beta, join the waitlist in Settings and you will be notified as soon as it is ready for your device. Both device language and Siri language must be set to US English. Apple Intelligence is available on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple Intelligence is not currently available in the EU or China.
To try out the beta, sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program here, then navigate to Settings > General > Software Update on your device and choose iOS 18 Public Beta from the 'Beta Updates' row.
