Apple is planning to unveil new AirPods Max headphones at its special event tomorrow, according to a new report from Mark Gurman.
In a late night post on X, Gurman predicted that the new over-ear headphones would feature better noise cancellation, adaptive audio, and USB-C. Additionally, the leaker believes new low-end AirPods 4 will also get announced.
I expect Apple to launch new AirPods Max headphones tomorrow with better noise cancellation, adaptive audio & USB-C. They'll launch with the low-end AirPods 4. This is line with my reporting for months but runs counter to lack of low inventory in stores.
Previously, Gurman said Apple was working on two new AirPods models to replace AirPods 2 and AirPods 3. It's unclear if both these models will be unveiled at the event.
Notably, in another late tweet, the leaker predicted that Apple would not launch a new Apple Watch Ultra 3 model tomorrow, but instead introduce a new color for Ultra 2.
