Apple will not unveil a new Apple Watch Ultra 3 model at its special event tomorrow, according to a new report from Mark Gurman.
In a late night post on X, Gurman predicts that Apple will introduce a new color option for the Apple Watch Ultra 2 instead.
I don't expect Apple to announce an Apple Watch Ultra 3 tomorrow. Instead, I expect the Ultra 2 sticks around and — finally — gains a black color option. I also wouldn't rule out a delay to the new Watch SE.
Previous rumors had suggested that an Ultra 3 would be unveiled at the It's Glowtime event tomorrow; however, minimal changes to the device were expected.
The more notable update will be the Apple Watch Series 10. This new tenth anniversary model is expected to feature a thinner design and bigger displays. Additionally, it's said to offer an upgraded ECG sensor and sleep apnea detection. While the screen sizes aren't confirmed, they could be 44mm and 48mm, up from 41mm and 45mm.
