Apple has released new firmware updates for all current AirPods models.

First up is firmware version 6F8, up from 6F7, which was released last month. It applies to both the AirPods Pro 2 with Lightning Charging Case and AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C Charging Case.

Next is firmware version 6A326, up from 6A321. It applies to AirPods Pro 1, AirPods 2, AirPods 3, and AirPods Max (previously at 6A325).

The new builds provide "bug fixes and improvements," but Apple hasn't provided a more detail change log.

Firmware updates are delivered periodically while your AirPods are charging and in Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Because firmware updates are delivered automatically, you don't need to update your AirPods.

To use your iPhone or iPad to check that your AirPods are up to date, make sure that you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Go to Settings > Bluetooth, then tap the Info button next to the name of your AirPods. Scroll down to the About section to find the firmware version.

If you don't already have AirPods, they are on sale today!
AirPods Pro 2 (USB-C) - $199 ($50 off)
AirPods 3 - $169
AirPods 2 - $89 ($40 off)
AirPods Max - $449 ($100 off)
