Apple will reportedly introduce some design changes to Control Center and Settings with the release of iOS 18 and macOS 15, according to Mark Gurman.

In a post on X today, Gurman corroborated rumors of a revamp to Settings, adding that Control Center will also see 'updates'.

A lot of people using macOS 15 and iOS 18 keep mentioning the revamp to Settings. Obviously not a huge deal, but it's getting a new UI with a reorganized, cleaner layout that's more simple to navigate. It also has much improved search. There are also updates to Control Center.

While these changes are quite minor, Apple is purportedly planning more significant changes to iOS 18 that will be focused around AI. Yesterday, Gurman also predicted that these AI updates will allow Siri to control individual app functions.

At the start, the new Siri will handle one command at a time, but Apple has plans to to allow users to chain commands together. For example, they could ask Siri to summarize a recorded meeting and then text it to a colleague in one request.

Apple is widely expected to unveil a beta of iOS 18 and macOS 15 at WWDC 2024 on June 10. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for full coverage of the event!
