Sonos has released an update to its new app that reintroduces some missing features. The new app has been widely criticized for dropping popular features, connectivity issues, and usability problems.

The company announced the update in a post on X:

We've heard your feedback and are moving quickly to improve your app experience. Our latest update reintroduces local music library playback, enhanced VoiceOver and TalkBack support, and more. You can find more details about the recent update on Sonos Support.

Sonos also shared a support document detailing the update and providing a rough outline of when additional changes can be expected.

Many of you have shared valuable feedback on both the improvements that have made your experience better, as well as the areas where we fell short. We are listening to all of your comments and working to address them as quickly as possible. Over the coming weeks, we will reintroduce the below features, while fixing bugs and performance issues. Thank you for your engagement and we look forward to building upon this first step to create a listening experience that meets everyone's needs.
