Early benchmarks have surfaced for the new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro with M4 chip.

The Geekbench 6 Results Browser has numerous results for the 10-core M4 CPU with 16GB of RAM. Note that to get the 10-core version you'll need to spring for 1TB or 2TB of storage. The 256GB and 512GB models only get a 9-core CPU and 8GB of RAM.

For the 13-inch model, the average Geekbench 6 single-core score is 3705 and the average multi-core score is 14532. Compare that to the previous generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro with an average single-core score of 2540 and multi-core score of 9630.

For the 11-inch model, the average single-core score is 3690 and the average multi-core score is 14220. Compare that to the previous generation 11-inch iPad Pro at 2537 and 9634.

The iPad Pro is Apple's first device to get the new M4 chip. It offers an increased level of power and performance that may be used to enable new AI features in iPadOS 18. We're likely to learn more about Apple's plans for AI at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

The M4 iPad Pro is available to pre-order now and will be released on May 15th. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for more iPad updates.
