Apple may not hold a launch event to debut its new products this spring, according to new report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. That's despite having a slew of products ready for release including a new 12.9-inch iPad Air, 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Airs with M3, revamped iPad Pro models with OLED displays, a new Apple Pencil and new Magic Keyboards.

In his weekly newsletter, Gurman suggests the products will be announced via press release...

I consider all the new products to be fairly significant. Let's not forget this list includes the first revamp to the iPad Pro in nearly six years, the first iPad with an OLED screen and the first mid-tier tablet to get a 12.9-inch display size. The Magic Keyboard is also getting its first revamp. And the MacBook Air — Apple's most popular computer — is gaining a 3-nanometer chip. That's a lot of firsts and a lot of things Apple would normally use a full-blown event to highlight. But it doesn't appear that such an event is coming. Apple is instead planning to announce the new products on its website with a series of online videos and marketing campaigns.

It's unclear when exactly Apple will release all these products; however, the company has scheduled a special version of iOS 17.4 with support for the new hardware for the end of March.

Finally, Gurman says Apple's next big launch will come at WWDC where engineers are suggesting that Apple will unveil its biggest ever revamp to iOS with a focus on AI.
