The Joe Rogan Experience podcast has returned to Apple Podcasts following an exclusive run on Spotify.

Rogan's show is one of the most popular and influential podcasts globally. In 2020, Spotify signed the podcast to an exclusivity deal worth a reported $200 million; however, that deal has now expired. Last week, the company announced that it has resigned Rogan to a new multi-year deal that allows for distribution on other platforms.

The Joe Rogan Experience debuted in 2009, has been a Spotify exclusive since 2020, and we're just getting started. Today we announced our new multiyear partnership deal with JRE. There's so much more ahead, including that the show will soon be available on additional platforms. JRE remains podcasting's king, consistently ranking as the most-listened-to podcast globally and our users have ranked the show as Spotify's Wrapped top podcast each year since 2020.

The new deal is purportedly worth up to $250 million and includes an upfront minimum guarantee, as well as a revenue sharing agreement for ad sales. Spotify will sell ads for the podcast across other platforms including YouTube.

Last night, Rogan announced on X that his podcast had officially returned to Apple Podcasts with full episodes.

The podcast is now officially back on @apple We should be back on @youtube with full episodes in the coming weeks. Shoutout to @spotify for absolutely being the coolest and smartest people I've ever had the pleasure of being in partnership with. I'm very excited the podcast will now have a much broader distribution.
