Apple is preparing to launch a new iPad Air, iPad Pro, and MacBook Air early next year, according to a new report from Bloomberg.

Sources tell the site that the iPad Air will come in two sizes for the first time, the iPad Pro will get an OLED display, and the MacBook Air will get the new M3 processor. It's likely these new devices will launch around the end of March.

Apple is looking to the new models to help reinvigorate demand next year. The iPads and accessories are expected to launch around the end of March — alongside iPadOS 17.4 — according to the people familiar with the plans. The Macs are being developed alongside macOS 14.3. That software update is likely to be released between the end of January and February, but the hardware may not ship until the March time frame.

The iPad Air is expected to come in 10.9-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes. The 12.9-inch being a new larger size that matches the current 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Codenames for the Wi-Fi and cellular models are J507, J508, J537, and J538.

Announced at the same time will be new OLED iPad Pro models that are said to have screen sizes around 11-inches and 13-inches. Codenames for the Wi-Fi and cellular models are J717, J718, J720 and J721. New Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard accessories will accompany the new iPad Pro. The new Apple Pencil is codenamed B532, while the new Magic Keyboards are codenamed R418 and R428. They reportedly make the iPad Pro look more like a laptop and are constructed with a sturdier aluminum frame.

Finally, the new MacBook Airs will come in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes and are codenamed J613 and J615.

If you can't wait until March for new M3 MacBook Air, consider the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3. It's now on sale for $1449. Thats $150 off its regular price of $1559.
