Apple has announced an update to the cellular iPad 10 model in China that brings eSIM support.
iPad (10th generation) supports 5G, giving users more ways to connect without Wi-Fi to smoothly access files, connect with friends and family, and stream content anytime, anywhere. The upgraded iPad (10th generation) wireless LAN + cellular model supports eSIM, and users can choose China Unicom's cellular data plan directly on iPad1. Users can also continue to use physical SIM cards activated by the operator.
Availability
The updated iPad (10th generation) wireless LAN + cellular network model supports eSIM in mainland China for the first time. It will be available for pre-order on October 19th and will be officially released on October 25th.
