Apple has released the first beta of iOS 17.1 and iPadOS 17.1 to public testers. This follows the release to developers yesterday.
iOS beta gives you an early preview of upcoming apps, features, and technologies. Please back up your iPhone before you install the beta.

New features spotted in the beta include the ability add favorites in Apple Music and the ability to finish AirDrop transfers over the Internet.
You can try out the public betas by signing up for the Apple Beta Software Program. Then, visit the Settings > General > Software Update page and choose iOS 17 Public Beta from the Beta Updates row.
