Early Benchmarks for iPhone 15 Pro

Early benchmarks for the iPhone 15 Pro have surfaced on Geekbench ahead of the smartphone's release next week.

Apple says the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are powered by the new A17 Pro, the industry's first 3nm chip. The CPU is touted as up to 10% faster with a neural engine that is up to 2X faster and a GPU that is up to 20% faster. The A17 Pro has six cores, two high performance cores and four efficiency cores.




iPhone 15 Pro
As of now, there are three benchmarks for the iPhone 15 Pro in the Geekbench results browser. The average single-core score for the three is 2890. The highest score is 2914. Compare that to the iPhone 14 Pro at 2520.

The average multi-core score is 7194 and the highest score is 7238. Compare that to the iPhone 14 Pro at 6387.

The base frequency for the iPhone 15 Pro is listed as 3.78 GHz and amount of RAM available is 8GB.




iPhone 15 Pro Max
We also spotted three benchmarks for the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the Geekbench results browser. The average single-core score the device is currently 2783 and highest score is 2846. Compare that to the iPhone 14 Pro Max at 2519.

The average multi-core score is 6945 and the highest score is 7024. Compare that to the iPhone 14 Pro Max at 6367.

The base frequency for the iPhone 15 Pro Max is 3.78GHz and the RAM is 8GB.
