Apple may introduce a new 'iPhone 15 Ultra' model as its flagship device this year, replacing the 'Pro Max' model, according to a rumor from AppleInsider reporter Andrew O'Hara.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, O'Hara says multiple sources have confirmed the iPhone 15 Ultra name to him.
Here's a late Friday tidbit I've heard for #iPhone15. Multiple sources have told me Apple will indeed use the "iPhone 15 Ultra" monicker for the plus-sized pro phone. This was an early rumor that got backpedaled. Most have since referred to it as iPhone 15 Pro Max.
If that's the case, Apple's lineup for the iPhone 15 would look like:
● iPhone 15
● iPhone 15 Plus
● iPhone 15 Pro
● iPhone 15 Ultra
Features unique to the iPhone 15 Ultra would be its larger display and a periscope tele lens. Both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra are expected to have a titanium frame, Action button, and 3nm A17 chip.
Apple will likely unveil all four iPhone 15 models at a special event on September 12. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for further updates.
