Details about the new A17 chip that will be used for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have purportedly been leaked by @URedditor.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Unknownz21 says that the A17 chip will have six CPU cores and six GPU cores, a clock speed of 3.7 GHz, 6GB of LPDDR5 DRAM, and be built on TSMC's 3nm process.
-----
Apple A17 - t8130 - Coll
6 CPU Cores + 6 GPU Cores
3.70 GHz
6GB LPDDR5 DRAM - Micron/Samsung
TSMC 3nm Process
LPDDR = Low Power Double Data Rate SDRAM
The A17 is used by both the D83 and D84, also likely planned for D47 and D48 (16 series), as the D9x will use t8140 (A18).

According to the leaker, "These are the exact specs, unless there's a newer revision I'm not aware of." Unlike the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple is expected to use the A16 Bionic for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
All four models will likely be unveiled at a September 12 event. Pre-orders are expected to go live on September 15 ahead of a September 22 release date. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for more updates.
