Apple Will Likely Release a New Mac Studio at WWDC 2023

Apple will likely release an update to the powerful desktop Mac Studio at its Worldwide Developer Conference next week, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

In a report for Bloomberg yesterday, Gurman noted that Apple is testing two new Macs with M2 Max and M2 Ultra processors. On Twitter, he revealed the new Mac will be codenamed J475.

The M2 Ultra processor in testing features 24 processing cores, doubling the performance of the M2 Max model. It has 16 high-performance cores and eight efficiency cores, as well as, 60 graphics cores. Configurations being tested have 64GB, 128GB, and 192GB of memory. Notably, the M2 Ultra chip will also be offered with a 76 graphics cores, doubling the number in the M2 Max chip.

In addition to the Mac Studio, Apple is widely expected to unveil its rumored 'Reality Pro' AR/VR headset, a new 15-inch MacBook Air, and operating system updates for iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, and macOS.
