Check out this new iPhone 15 Pro CAD leak that purportedly reveals Apple's new solid state button design for its upcoming flagship device. The images were shown in a Douyin video by user chenwen1987 and shared to Twitter by ShrimpApplePro.

As rumored, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max feature a long unified button that will presumably use haptic feedback to confirm a press for volume up or volume down. Additionally, the mute switch appears to have been changed to a mute button.

The base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to keep the separated button design and regular mute switch.

Apple isn't expected to launch its new iPhone series until this fall but we've been seeing a lot of early leaks this year. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro are both expected to get Dynamic Island and Ceramic Shield but rumors suggest the iPhone 15 Pro will have thinner bezels, solid state buttons, and 8GB of RAM.

The iPhone 15 Pro will likely utilize an A17 Bionic chip made with TSMC's 3nm process, while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will stick with the A16 Bionic and 6GB of RAM. All four models will purportedly have a USB-C port and Qualcomm's 5G Snapdragon X70 modem.

Finally, it's predicted the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a periscope telephoto lens for better optical zoom while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could get a 48MP rear camera lens.

Update:
Leaker @URedditor claims that the volume button in these CAD images does not line up with images of the iPhone 15 Pro itself, or other info specifically on the the Bongo module in its entirety (haptic volume / power buttons). The leaker claims the images above are from a case manufacture which may explain the difference.
