iOS 16.4 Beta 3 Allows You to Specify Apple ID for Beta Updates

Apple has introduced the ability to specify an Apple ID for beta updates in iOS 16.4 beta 3. The company is moving away from downloadable profiles for beta access and will instead require users to sign in with an Apple account.

Now when opening Beta Updates from the Software Update menu, you'll see the Apple ID used to authenticate beta access. If you tap the ID, you'll be shown the following alert.

"You can sign in with a different Apple ID that is enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program or Apple Developer Program."

Tapping the Use a different Apple ID... button will let you log into an alternate Apple account for beta access.
