A photo allegedly showing the USB-C port on the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro has leaked on Twitter.
The leaker, @URedditor, shared the photo in response to a render by Ian Zelbo.
That's cute.
Anyway, here's an actual close up of the USB-C port on the iPhone 15 Pro. No imagination or rendering required.
Notably, the image also appears to confirm a brushed titanium finish on the frame with rounded edges. This corroborates a leak from ShrimpApplePro who predicted, back in November, that the next generation device would have a titanium case with a rounded back.
Not as sharp as the 5S edges tbh, more of a rounded look to it, commented @URedditor after making the tweet.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro are both expected to get Dynamic Island and Ceramic Shield but rumors suggest the iPhone 15 Pro will have thinner bezels, solid state buttons, and 8GB of RAM.
The iPhone 15 Pro will likely utilize an A17 Bionic chip made with TSMC's 3nm process, while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will stick with the A16 Bionic and 6GB of RAM. All four models will purportedly have a USB-C port and Qualcomm's 5G Snapdragon X70 modem.
Finally, it's predicted the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a periscope telephoto lens for better optical zoom while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could get a 48MP rear camera lens.
Here are the purported iPhone 15 series' codenames and manufacturer's codenames:
● iPhone 15 - D37 - Spyder
● iPhone 15 Plus - D38 - Shasta
● iPhone 15 Pro - D83 - Vantage
● iPhone 15 Pro Max - D84 - Veyron
The iPhone 15 Plus will allegedly be made by Luxshare. While the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be made by Foxconn.
