Apple's rumored new 15-inch MacBook Air could launch in April, according to a new report from Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC).
Young believes that production of a 15.5-inch display panel for the new MacBook Air launched this month, suggesting early April as a possible timeline for release.
The larger MacBook Air has been rumored since last year with Bloomberg also predicting its release in Spring 2023. It's possible the notebook could be debuted at a company event, alongside new iPads or maybe even Apple's long rumored mixed reality headset.
Although, TSMC has already started mass production of its 3nm chips, it's unclear if the new MacBook Air will feature an M2 or M3 chip. The current 13-inch MacBook Air was launched in July 2022 with an M2 chip built on TSMC's 5nm process.
