Apple may be planning to release a new 15.5-inch MacBook Air in spring 2023, according to a report from Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC).
Young's sources indicate that Apple is set to begin production of display panels for a 15.5-inch MacBook Air early next year.
This isn't the first time a larger MacBook Air has been rumored. It's presumed that the new laptop will just be a larger version of the current MacBook Air, helping Apple grab a bigger share of the overall notebook market.
Currently, Apple's 13.6-inch MacBook Air is on sale for $200 off. That brings its price down from $1199 to just $999, its lowest price ever. It's unclear what the 15.5-inch MacBook Air will be priced at; however, it will likely be significantly cheaper than the 16-inch MacBook Pro.
