You can add a startup and shutdown sound to the iPhone 14 or later. This works similar to the startup chime you hear when your Mac boots up.
Here's how to enable this optional accessibility feature on new iPhones.
Tap to open the Settings app from your Home Screen
Choose Accessibility from the Settings menu.
Tap Audio/Visual from the Accessibility menu.
Toggle the "Power On & Off Sounds Switch" to the ON position.
Now when you power off or power on your iPhone, you'll hear the new sounds. Take a look at the video tutorial to check them out.
● This optional startup sound may help low vision users who cannot see the Apple logo when booting.
● Unfortunately, the mac like startup sound doesn't work with older iPhones, even after installing the latest Apple software updates; however, we'll let you know if Apple does expand it to older devices.
