Apple will reportedly begin mass production of new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The analyst also believes that the next generation MacBooks may still use TSMC's 5nm process for its M2 Pro and M2 Pro Max processors.

New 14" and 16" MacBook Pro with new processors will enter mass production in 4Q22. Given TSMC's guidance that the 3nm will contribute revenue starting in 1H23, processors of 14" and 16" MacBook Pro models may still adopt the 5nm advanced node.

If Kuo is correct, we could see Apple's new MacBook Pros before the year's end. Notably, current models are on now sale for $300 off (16-inch) and $200 off (14-inch).
