Apple is behind schedule on the new iPhone 14 Pro Max but it's still under control, according to a new report from TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
My latest channel checks suggest that Apple has not changed the shipping plan for the iPhone 14 models since the Shanghai lockdown. iPhone 14 Max is running behind, but it's still under control currently, and suppliers can work overtime to catch up with the schedule.
Notably, Kuo says challenges with the iPhone 14 Pro Max may come from the demand side.
I believe iPhone 14's challenges will come from the demand side instead of the supply side.
Kuo's report lines up with a recent one from Nikkei which said one new iPhone model was behind schedule.
Apple is rumored to be preparing four new iPhone models for release this fall, including an iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The company will likely discontinue the iPhone mini. You can check out Apple's expected roadmap through 2026 here.
