Apple's rumored new 27-inch mini-LED display has reportedly been delayed due to COVID lockdowns in China and is now expected to launch in October.
According to Display Supply Chain Consultants CEO Ross Young, the monitor was originally to be produced at Quanta's Shanghai factory.
Apple leak! The 27" MiniLED monitor has been delayed as it was going to be produced at Quanta in Shanghai which has been locked down. Production is in the process of being moved to a different location and has been delayed. It now looks like an October release.
Quanta also produces Apple's high-end MacBooks which have been in short supply since lockdowns began. Additionally, the company was recently in the news after employees rioted due to COVID restrictions.
