Apple Releases 4E71 Firmware Update for AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max

Apple has released a new firmware update for AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max. The firmware version is 4E71.
Although AirPods 3 were updated to build 4C170 earlier this year, most AirPods have been running build 4C165 since last year.
Unfortunately, Apple does not provide release notes for its AirPods updates. The company also makes it difficult to manually update your firmware version. We've had success plugging our AirPods in to charge next to a paired iPhone, then waiting patiently for them to update.
You can check your firmware version by navigating to Settings > General > About > AirPods.
If you don't already have AirPods, they are on sale for up to 37% off today:
● AirPods 2: $99.99 (37% off)
● AirPods 3: $169 (6% off)
● AirPods Pro: $174.99 (30% off)
● AirPods Max: $479 (13% off)
