Apple is planning to launch two new Macs in mid-2022, perhaps even unveiling them at WWDC in June, says Mark Gurman in his PowerOn newsletter.

Apple is gearing up to launch some new Macs in the next few months. What better place to do so than WWDC? That’s the same venue where the Mac’s transition from Intel to Apple’s own chips was announced two years ago.

Gurman says the two new Macs are coming around the middle of the year or early in the second half. It's likely that one of the two new Macs will be a MacBook Air. Other models in development include an updated Mac mini and 24-inch iMac, a low-end MacBook Pro, a Mac Pro, and an iMac Pro.

The new MacBook Air is rumored to feature a larger 13.6-inch display and an M2 processor with an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU.

Apple is holding WWDC 2022 from June 6 to June 10. It will be a free virtual event. More details in the full announcement here.
