iPhone SE 3 Teardown Reveals Changes [Video]

Check out this teardown of the new iPhone SE 3 smartphone with 5G. The teardown was posted to YouTube by channel PBKreviews.

The new battery is model A2819. It has a 3.88V, 2018mAh, 7.82Wh rating. Although roughly the same size as the previous generation's A2312 battery, the batteries are not interchangeable as Apple has changed the connector.

When swapping the screen from the iPhone SE 2 to the iPhone SE 3, the connectors fit and the display lit up; however, touch was intermittent.


There are several more changes including a slightly longer logic board, slightly smaller speaker assembly, no mid-plate, and more.

The device gets a repairability score of 5.5 out of 10.
