Apple is planning to sell a third-party Lock Adapter for the new Mac Studio desktop computer, reports MacRumors. The Lock Adapter would let users secure the computer to prevent theft.
Users have noticed a hole at the bottom of Mac Studio that looks like it could be for a Kensington lock; however, it's unclear how a Kensington lock would fit underneath the device.
Instead, in a memo seen by MacRumors, Apple has said a "lock adapter" that customers can use to keep their Mac Studio "physically secure without modifying or damaging" will launch soon. In the memo, Apple did not provide details on pricing or availability.
